Sir      Inclosed I send you  Bell & Cos. two Bills, as above.  The Bill for Five Hundred pounds is to enable you to pay the half years intst. due to Sir Edward Winnington for the 6th inst. on Sir Walter Blacketts mortgage of Wallington, & in the meantime you will please to place it to my Credit and advise me of the receipt of it.  The other Bill for One hundred & Sixty five pounds is on Acct. of the quarterly & other payments which you are to make for  Sir Walter to Mich[aelm]as next, & I desire you will place the Same to his Acct. & send me a receipt for it, as usual.

   I had a Letter last post from Sir Walter from Spa; who is very well; but does not talk of coming home yet.

    I have paid Mr Colpitts the Purchase Money for the Ferry Boat & Boat rake & shall get Sir Edward Blackett to sign the receipt on the back of the deed, in the Assize week; when he will be in Town.  As to the Deeds which you said Sir Walter Blackett was not to part with to Mr Ward, because they relate to Winlaton as well as Woodcroft, I have reserved them, & shall return them to you; as soon as I know whether you are in London & will be so when they arrive.  for I suppose it is near the time of your vacation & should be glad to know that you propose visiting Newcastle this year. The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
