Mr Darwin No 4 Hatton Street London Newcas Saturdy 5 March 1774 Sir Mr Geo: Selby writes me that Mr Lodge of Grey’s Inn is his Agent and will call upon you for the Copy of the Deed vesting the Term of 500 Years in You as that will be first wanted and that afterwards he will examine the other Copies but I have wrote him what you say that they ought to be at Mr Selby’s Expence - What is usual in such Cases must be agreed to, only I wish you would take Sr Walter’s Directions about it and also whether he would have the drat perused by Mr Fawcett or by some Counsel in London after Mr Duane has approved of it as that may save time. As yet Sir Walter has no person of the Law employed but yourself so you will take care that all be right for him in this Conveyance - The Blanchland Bill I hope goes forward properly but as that Matter is in the Hands Of Mr Heron of Hexham I am a stranger to its progress - I conclude you have not heard or seen any thing of my Brother since the Beginning of Janry as you say nothing about him -My Left hand is a slow bad scribe but necessity may produce an Improvement in time I am etc HR
