Sir      Matters being settled about the Loan of the Four Hundred pounds, Trust money which I remitted you in Novr. last & which you then placed to my Credit in the Accot. between us, I have drawn a Bill on you dated this day & payable at Sight, as you allowed me to make it, to Messrs. Bell Cookson & Co. or Order for the said Four Hundred pounds which when paid will balance our said private Accot. and I desire you will please to pay the Bill & place the same accordingly.  I am glad we have been able to dispose of this Money this Way without troubling you about the Stocks as we had proposed & thank you nevertheless for your ready disposition to assist us.

     Inclosed I send you Bell and Cos. Bill on Glyn & Co. for three Hundred and Sixteen pounds on Accot. of the quarterly payments made and to be made by you in London for Sir Walter Blackett between 31st March last & 30th June next & desire you will place the same to his Credit & send me the usual Receipt to be a Voucher to my Accot. with him.        I am etc    HR
