To Mr Willm Alvey Darwin Greys Inn London Newcastle 8 May 1767 Sir Inclosed herewith are two bills for £895 as above. The first is to pay Mr Savage’s half year’s int[e]r[es]t due 6th inst on his Mortgage on Wallington & in the mean time to be placed to my acco[un]t & you will please to advise me accordingly. the other bill for £400 I send you on acco[un]t of the quarterly payments made & to be made by you in London for Sir Wr Blackett & to be placed to his acco[un]t & for it you will be so good as send me the usual receipt, to be a voucher to my acco[un]t with him. As to Green Leighton – Mr Wray will find Sir Wr a particular of it in a post or two such a one as I hope will answer your purpose - but we have no survey of it & therefore cannot be accurate & I suppose you are too much streightned for time to allow him to make one now. I shewed Mr Richd Brown, Ex[ecu]tor of Mr W Robson the acco[un]t you sent me & left it with him for Examina[tion] but kept the voucher - he says he will search for those you mention to have been sent on the 1st Febr[ua]ry 1766 & will call upon me soon.
