Ravs Castle 21. April 1739 To Mr Bunting I Desire you may give it out and Publish it in the Barony that whosoever takes any Coales of Mr Teasdale and Mr Westgarth shall not nor need not Expect any favour of the Hospital or us and I Desire you will give us a List of their Names. These two men are Robing the Hospital of their Coales. I have recd. the Horse and I think him a Dear Pennyworth and I am afraid the Gentleman will think he is both too old and little, but I shall be Silent now till I pay for him. I wonder Mr Airey does not Send you proper Materials to goe upon. You had a list of the Fee Farm and other Rents before, but you keep nothing, I have Sent another Inclosed and desire that what is in that List may be recd. against I come up which will be either the Latter End of the first week in May or the Week following, but as my Coming is Uncertain, If I cannot my Self I’ll send Mr Waltons Man the first week in May for them and the Tanners, Brick and Tyles &c Money. I am Assured of that. I have gott Orders from the Board to use such Methods as to Compell John Corbett to goe off pray Preapre and Seize before Mayday. Mr Bunting as we have Orders for using such Methods as to gett Quitt of John Corbett in what you doe be Advised by Mr Downs. That woman at Corbridge we will use in the same way to gett Quitt of her. The List Inclosed does Include all Bricks and Tyles that are owing for John Corbett owes at Mayday Next £38. I have Sent Mr Downes a list besides Yours, and who of Yours does not pay by or in the May Week he shall have to Sue. I am &c H:Boag
