I reced. yours of the 9 Inst & am sorry that you shoud delay paying your Arrear till you are sued I did indeed give Mr King orders to sue you if you did not pay in a Fortnights time or give assurance of your paying soon after, none of which I perceive you have done which occasions this expence to you.
Mr Walton & I have wrote to Mr King to forbear process against you provided you pay in a fortnights time or 3 weeks from the date of this but after that Expect no further forbearance If Mr King does anything irregular in his practice it will returne upon himselfe but I do not see he has in sueing those he had an Order to sue tho’ I wish he had spared you a fortnight longer.
As to you and the Towns petitioning against Mr King does not at all Effect us, not are we afraid of any Tennants petitioning while we are doing none of you any Injustice . I am for Mr Walton & Self
