To Mr William Radley at Greenwich



Sir

	We recd yours of the 17th Inst & observe that you are right as to the names of the persons that are Mr Blacketts Lessees & who worke or has given Direction to worke in the Hospitals Liberty at High Stublick Colliery, They are or may be said to be Gentlemen, Viz Thus Abraham Teasdale of Hexhamshire in the County of Northumberland Gentleman, Thomas Westgarth of Allondale in the same County Gentleman.

	As to their Business Mr Teasdale is a gentleman of a small Estate & Mr Westgarth is also one of a small estate & Agent for the Quaker Company in the Lead Mines in this County. As to the Quantity of Coal & the value thereof they have Dugg up & carryed away we cannot now tell but if its Necessary will Inform ourselves as near as we can & Inform you.

	We begg again that you will forward the Leases for some we are afraid will take the advantage & goe off next mayday as they are under no more then a Verble Contract, some Threatens this if they can find a pennyworth they like better, If this should happen as its now Threatened some persons will be blam’d for not forwarding the Leases – This we only mention if it may Caution & Exeart Diligence in you
