Mr Mulcaster Blaydon Dukesf[iel]d 18th April 1780 Sir Inclosed you have a List of the Carriagemen & No. of Draughts that I think we should imploy this Season but as it's only made f[ro]m the Papers I got f[ro]m you & the Minutes taken when paying the Money at Blaydon I beg that if there's any in it or omitted by your opinion that you may correct it for I think we may make a pritty good sum[m]er work for 34 Draughts. for I shall give Mr Smith a schedule of those we ingage into the Carriage w[i]th orders to acquaint the Leaders f[ro]m Rookhope that if they do not give thepreference to them in regard to the Lead they let the Leading of f[ro]m the Pit or Bankfoot that they will be marked for the time to come. I would like to meet them on Friday at Mr Reynoldson's between 4 & 5 o'clock as I have to be at N.Castle that evening. I am Yrs &c IH
