Sir	I have this day drawn a Bill on you Payable to the Order of Messrs Eden Ridley & Co at 30 days dated this day for £970-7-11 being the Balance of your Account with Sir Thomas Blackett Bartt  & which I doubt not you will duly honor __ In the course of this month I shall send you a piece of Silver & are etc                                                      J.E.B

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
