	I am favoured with your Letter of the 9th instant & observe that the India Co have given £13.5s.0d p Ton for Lead this Year and that at present it is sold in London at £13 p Ton.  You may have here any Quantity of Sir Thomas Blacketts Lead you please at the following Prices - £12.17s.6d p Fother for the sort usually sent to India & £13.2s.6d p Fother for refined Lead.  It is delivered here and we do not deliver it any other Place.  The Time of Payment is three Months after Delivery.  Sir Thos Blackett informed me that I should hear from you on this Business.               & am etc    JEB

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
