Messs Isaac & John Wilkinson Newcastle 18th Jany 1790 Chesterfield Gentn Mr Blackett received your favour of the 7th instant and is much obliged to you for the information you have given him respecting a Meeting of the Proprietors of Mines with you _ Mr B has since his last Sale (of which you were acquainted) Advanced the Price of Ref[ine]d Lead to £17 per Fo[dde]r but will have little or none to sell still late in the Spring _ Messrs Lancaster & Co & Messrs Walker’s & Co have made offers for a Pretty large Quantity to supply some Foreign Commissions, but they could not be supplied here. There is very little Lead at this Market, & should there be a brisk demand Mr B. intends to lay a further Advance from it I am etc J.E.B
