Mrs Astle Uttoxeter. Newcas 2nd March 1778 Staffordshire I am favoured with your Letter _ The Twenty Pounds which I received of Mr Carr on account of the Int[e]rest due on his Bond, I have remitted to your Sister Miss Carr at her Request. The Principal & Int[e]rest on the late Sir W[alte]r Blacketts Bonds will be paid off in July next by Mr Thomas Wall Paper Buildings in the Temple London on a proper Discharge being given on the several Bonds. I am sorry Madam you should be put to any inconvenience on this account Sir Jno. Trevelyan is advised by the Gentlemen of the Law in the Business of the Executorship so you must blame them & not me. P.S. In case Captn. Astle should not be in England in July it will be necessary he should execute a Letter of Attorney empowering some Gentleman to receive his share of the Money. I am etc J E B.
