Mr. J. Bell Newcastle 8th. Feb.y 1800 Hexham Abbey Sir Mr. Blackett received your Favor enclosing Bank Notes, Amount thirty- four Pounds, being in full for four Lasts of Rye engaged by you for the Poor of Hexham; three of which are already deliverd. The Barley is not yet arrived; Mr. Blackett cannot at present say whether you can be supplied with any either by him or Mr. Pollard, nor what the Barley will cost at this Place. I am &c T.C.
