Newcastle March 28th 1784 Nettlecombe Somersetshire Dear Sir I am favoured with your letters of the 9th & 12th ins[tant]t and as they were answers to my letter I postpon’d answering them for a few days. Inclosed you have a Bill drawn by Bell Carr & Co on Castell & Co dated 22nd inst. at One Months date for £300 the receipt of wch. you will please to acknowledge. Mr. Winship called on me Yesterday, he will be at Berwick to Receive the Rents for West Ord & the Fisheries about the 20th April & the Wallington & Longwitton Rents will be received a few days after, he has Lett the Farms better than I expected, &, I hope to good Tenants.
