Sir

	I received your favour of the 9th inst inclosing your Acct with Sir Thos Blackett Bart.  Balance in his favour £529-2-0 for which Sum I have drawn a Bill on you dated 20th inst Payable to the Order of Messrs Bell Carr & Co at 20 Days date, wch I doubt not will be duly Honoured.  In a few days I shall send you a Piece of Fine Silver of wch I shall Advise you.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
