Dear Madam      I yesterday received a Letter from Mr Rolleston inclosing the Receipt for the Interest signed by your & himself and inclosed you have a Bill on London for the Amount of that Sum as well as for the Interest of £100 which Sir Wr Bt paid Capt. Astle     if Mrs Astle should not be with you please to acquaint her with it etc     Mr Rolleston recommends the placing of Mr Carr’s Bond in the Hands of some Attorney for the Recovery both of the principal and Interest  _ I wait for your Directions about it but it will be necessary to know what Interest he has paid there is no Receipt on the Back of the Bond and you cou’d not inform me when I saw you     please to advise me of the Receipt of the Bill     I left my Daughters very well and my little Boy is well & much improved  _  I hope this may find you Mrs Astle and the Captain perfectly well and I am with best respects     Dear Madam     J.E.B.
