	I have this day drawn a Bill on you at Thirty Days date payable to the Order of Messrs Bell Cookson & Co for Two Hundred & fifty Pounds which I doubt not you will pay due honour to & please to charge to the Account of Sir Thomas Blackett Barot.  In your next please to advise me of the Price of fine Silver.  I shall send you a Piece soon.    I am etc  JEB

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
