Gentlemen,

I have this day drawn upon you payable to my Order at Twenty Days date this day for Four Hundred & nineteen Pounds, Six Shillings & 9d being the Amount for fine Silver sent you on Mr Beaumont’s Account, & which I doubt not you will duly honor & remain yours etc. J. E. B.



P.S. The first piece of fine Silver I receive from the Works shall be sent you.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
