Sir Thomas Blackett Bart Bretton Newcastle Nov 12th 1790 Yorkshire Dear Sir I have the pleasure of informing you that the whole business of the exchange of Thomas Hepple’s Life for that of Charles Wilson’s is compleatly finished & Livery of Siezen given on Wednesday 3rd ins[tan]t at w[hi]ch Time the Bishop of Durham was living, the Leases have accordingly been Regestered in the Bishops Court at Durham & £630 p[ai]d to him for the same _ The allowance of 8s 6d per Week to Thos Hepple will of course cease & notice will be given him of your paying in the £270 that you have of his at 5 per Cent but if you have no objection I wo[ul]d beg leave to recommend that the Allowance be continued until the End of Decr that he may have Time to provide for himself. On 7th instant I remitted a bill for £2000 to Mr Noble on your Acct I am etc J.E.B
