Dear Sir

	I have had a Meeting with Mr Wilson & Mr Geo Anderson to talk over & consider of the Heads for an Article to be executed by you & Mr Anderson for the carrying into Execution the late Purchase made by him of your Premises in this Place.  Mr Anderson has already paid 1000 Gs, he proposes paying a 1000 more at Martins next - 4000 Gs on the 25th March next & 2000 Guins to be secured by his Bond to be paid within 3 Years with Interest in the mean Time at 4pCt Yearly; but in Case of Mr Anderson’s selling any part of the Estate to the Amount of £500 or upwards that money to go in part Satisfaction of the said Bond and be paid to Sir Thomas Blackett.  The Conveyance Deeds to bear date the 25th March & interest to be allowed to Mr Anderson for what he pays up to that Time at the rate of 4pCt.  Mr Anderson to enter upon the House and Court immediately so as to pull down the House & lay the materials in the Court - to enter on the Rent of the Prem[is]es the 25th March next - The Pews of St Andrews Church to pass with the Estate.  There are the several Heads which Mr Anderson proposes & which Mr Wilson & myself think are reasonable & fair provided it may be Convenient for you to indulge him with taking his Bond for the last 2000 Guins.  Should it meet your Approbation on your advising me of the same the Article will be immediately prepared.  You will hear from Mr Wilson in a few Days with respect to some Law from which he thinks necessary.  I shall soon have a Meeting with Mr Anderson to consider of a proper plan for the Office as Mr Peart must either have a House provided for him or an Increase of Salary as an Equivalent & as the Office should be inhabited we think the same Building may answer both purposes should it meet your Approbation.

	It will likewise be necessary to have a School Room for the Charity Boys & a Room or two for the Master but this may be further considered of.  I have sold about 1500 ps of Lead at £17.5s.0d & £17.10s.0d & 200 Casks Lithge at £17.15s.0d but have not yet made any Sale for the London Markett & hope the Buyers will very soon be under a Necessity of coming up to the above Prices.
