Mr Thomas Wall Temple Newcas 30th Augst 1780 London Sir I received your Favour of the 9th instant & observe that on settling your Account with Sir John Trevelyan to the 30th Sept. 1779 there was a Balance due to you of £169.2.6¾. He has omitted mentioning this to me but inclosed you will receive a Bill drawn by Bell Cookson & Co on Castell & Co at 25 days date for that Sum The hurry and Confusion of a disagreeable Canvass in this Town prevented my answering your Letter sooner. You will please to send me an account of the several Payments that you are tpmake on Sir John Trevelyans Account for the future including Mrs. Gordons Intrest & Mrs. Fields Annuity & distinguishing those of each Quarter; at the same time you will acknowledge the Receipt of this Bill I am etc J E B. £169 . 2 . 7 Newcastle Bank 30th August 1780 Sir Twenty five days pay to the Order of John Eras Blackett Esqr.
