Sir     Inclosed you will receive a Bill drawn by Messrs. Bell Carr & Co on Castell & Co dated 2nd ins[tan]t at One Months Date for Two Hundred Pounds to make the Quarterly Payments on Sir John Trevelyan’s Acct  . from 31st March last to 30th  June next for which Sum you will please to send me your Receipt as usual.      I am etc  John E. Blackett

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
