Wall Paper Buildings Newcas 4th Novemr. 1778 Temple London Sir I am favoured with your Letters of the 20th & 31st Ult[im]o the former inclosing the late Sir Walter Blacketts Bond to the late Will[ia]m Carr Esqr. with Mr. Glyns Receipt for the Principal and Int[e]rest. Sir W. Blackett by a Codicil to his Will left Blackett Midford Son of Francis Midford of Congleton in Cheshire £200 _ Inclosed you have a Copy of my Letter to Mr. Jos. Gildart by which you will observe that Sir John Trevelyan had consented to pay the Trustee for the said B. Midford 5 p[er] C[entu]m Int[e]rest for this Sum till he came of Age. The Int[e]rest to Commence the 14th Febry 1778 you will therefore please to pay the Sum of Ten Pounds the 14th Febry 1779 and continue that Payment annually till B. Midford is 21 Years of Age on your having a proper Certificate & discharge. I have remitted Sir John Trevelyan a Bill to pay Mrs. Gordons Int[e]rest & Mrs. Fields Annuity. I observe you have rec[eive]d of Messrs. Morrows £15 being their 4th Payment on their joint Bond to Sir Walter Blackett. I am etc J E B.
