	I received your Letter of the 11th instant & I have this day drawn a Bill on you on Sir Walter Blacketts Account at Twenty days date payable to Sir Edward Blackett Barot or order for Five hundred and nine pounds being in full for the Sum of Eight hundred Pounds for which you gave Sir Walter Blackett a Receipt first deducting £291 on Account of your Quarterly Payments to the 30th June next - This I hope will enable you to send me your Receipt for the amount of your quarterly Account.

	I left Sir Walter Blackett at Wallington yesterday he is much better - The damp weather we have retards Mr Richmonds Recovery.                   I am etc       John E Blackett

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
