Sr my last of the 3rd Instant I hope you have recd & that Mr Tye is arrived before this who I hope will pay you £40 or £50 here is also Mr Harteby Mr Henry Milburns order will pay you £50 you will find him at Billingsgate I hope he will be with you shortly, pray when the bill comes due doe not fail to pay it I had a bill the last year that was returnd, which when drawn again was much advanced; pray write me the price of small lead & Coles This what needfull from

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
