      Finding that the Stage coach from Newcastle to Leeds does not travel on a Sunday I do not think it necessary to adopt a more expensive mode of Conveyance as a Letter may answer the purpose of my journey nearly as well. My chief motive of personally waiting upon you was, as the Bishop goes to London previous to the 6th of November and at farthest in ten days, to expedite those measures which may be determined upon with regard to his Lordship and recommend (if not already done) that Mr Wilson be instructed to be prepared at least, should the evidence of Mr Blackett and Mr Emm go at last, before a Jury.

	Messrs Walker & Co have bought in two purchases 15,000 P[iece]s of Lead of the Company at £25 per Fo[ther] for Common upon a credit of 8, 9 & 10 months and 2,000 P[iece]s of M Walton at the same rate of Price;  M Walton has also sold to Messrs E H & Co 4,000 Pieces & 5,000 P[iece]s to Messrs Preston & Sons.
