Annexed you have statement of payments for Ore raised in Weardale in the year ending the 30 Septem[be]r 1819 by which the Company’s Proportion amounts to £799-17-3. Having received from you £1000 on Account of the same, the Balance due to the Company is £200-2-9, which sum Is to <their> Credit & applicable to the payments for the present year

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
