I am this day honored with your Letter of the 10th inst, by which you agree to accept the offer, made on behalf of Col Beaumont, of one sixth duty, for all the Ore raised in White Walls ground. In consequence I shall forthwith give directions to Mr W Crawhall to arrange the several Conditions with Mr Moor, conformable to the proposal originally made for this Undertaking.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
