According as I writ you in my Last p[er] yesterday post have been wth severall of oure merchants, who att present Can finde Little fault wth your Corne, but as our markett makes I thinke itt will not give above £7: 5s p[er] Last, if itt give that, I am offered £7: - and take all, tis Constantly turned twice a weeke shall be Continued for one weeke or two more and after that I thinke once a weeke will serve the time, pray Lett mee have your orders about itt wch shall be observed by him who is MB

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
