Rav. Castle 14th Nov.1738 To Mr A Bunting at Hexham Mr Bunting We recd. Yrs of the 1st Inst as to Jno.Bell. Did he not say when at Newcastle when Howdon & others Turn’d T<n[an]t> that he would not nor did not Expect any satisfaction but that of Entring next Mayday without Disturbance & by yours Claims £15. As to Wm. Elliott wh. we were at the Courts he Complained he had none of the Worke & then desired that he might have the Repair of his own & then he was told <that> he might but that it could not be done before next year, to wch he Replyed that he would take it as it was Computed & as he wanted worke would be doeing it & seek no money till next year. Pray Discharge him from pretending to lett Houses at his pleasure or Medling this winter. Inclosed is a List of Several fee farm & other small Debts Amounting to £45:9:4 which we Desire you will Collect & bring to Newcastle on a Thursday when you will find both or one of us . we are Yr Humble Servts N Walton H Boag
