	Last year was made out your Accot of Receipts and Disbursemnts to the 14 <Novr> in that Year and this we are proposed to Make out our Accot in the same Manner but as it seems more regular to end the 31st <December> in every Year we thought proper to Acquaint you that If you Approve of <It> we will Apply to the Directors to grant us leave to make up our Accounts for this Year to the 21st December to this wee desire you’ll give us your Answer by returne of the post and are Dear Sr SincerelyYr most Obliged Hble Servts

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
