The following Estates disagree with the Rentale

N.B  (Repaires) 23rd Oct. 1739 Mat. Jas. & John Thompson  2500 Tyle at 3d per M [thousand]

& 600 Bricks at the Same Rate 9s 9d. Overcharge computed 8/3d

[A] its 3100 Bricks & Tyles in the whole & at 3s per 1000 which amounts to £0 - 9 - 0 & they took nothing for the odd Hundred



The Above bill 3500 Tyles & 2100 bricks at 3s per 1000  15-9d <…> 1s-4d ¾   Over paid 14s-4 ¾ 

[A] its 5600 Bricks & Tyles in the whole & all to be at 3d per 1000 which amount to £ - 15 - 9 only, for they took pay 5250 & nothing for 350 



The Land tax is not Allowed for the Rent payable to the Almshouses at Bristol

[A] Never was any allowed & we believe as being for Charitable use.



Why the Deduction was paid upon Mr Wranghams bill ?

[A] Ordered by Board 23rd May & 19 Dec 1739

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
