To Mr James Wood at Tower Hill, London



Dear Sir

 	We were Favoured wth yours of the 18th June last wch would have been answered in Course but that Mr Boag has been Ill for about 10 days, & N. Walton has had the Malencholly loss of a Brother, wch we hope will together be sufficient reason for an excuse.

	The money Remitted by us stands as below, for wch you have a Certificate Inclosed Including the £1000 sent in November last, The £70 not being Return’d us till January it stands Charged upon you in our Books the 31st December last.

This is to Certify whom it may Concerne that we have remitted to Mr james Wood Deputy Treasurer of he Royal Hospital fo seamen at Greenwich the sum of Three thousand four Hundred and Fifty Seven Pounds and sixpence halfpenny and no more, out of the Rents & Profits of the Derwentwater estate between the first of July 1737 & the 31st December 1738. Witness our hands at ravensworth Castle the 7th July 1739. £3457 . - . 6 ½
