To Mr. Jno. Holmes Farnacres 2d. February 1779. Dear Sir On Saturday last we sent a Box of Bullion to the London Carrier containing 728 ½ Ounces which I hope will arrive safe and come to a better Market than there has been of late. Mr Walton desires you’ll be so good as dispose of the inclosed Lottery Ticket No. 25, 348 which he understands is a Prize of £20. – and it may be drawn for along with the Amount of the Bullion.
