Dear Sir

      We have this day drawn upon you for £226 .. ...4 being the Amount of 789 Ounces of Silver at  5s/8 ¾ d p[er] Ounce.   The Bill is pay.ble Thirty Days after date.   We expect you will receive a Cake of Bullion by the Carrier who sets out tomorrow, but cannot yet say positively as to that.   We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
