Maule Ravensworth Castle March 3d.1737/8 Dear Sir Yours of the 18th came to hand, when Mr Boag was from home, by which address it was not opened till last Tuesday Evening , when he came home, & on that Accot. could not be answered sooner than this day. We are exceedingly obliged to you, for the Trouble you have taken in considering how farr it was proper for you to Engage in Settleing our Accot. and it gives us great Pleasure to hear it will be an undertaking agreeable to you as well as Mr Hunter; and we doubt not your care in having the Accot. regularly Adjusted with Dispatch, for which we will always Sir make due acknowledgements. When the Accot. is ready as it will be then, you shall be acquainted with it, and as soon as it is possible to make a Coppy of the Rentall we will send it under Cover to Collonell Liddell to save postage; it will be in Separate Sheets which you may Stitch together according to the Pages which will be numbered. By the earliest opportunity you shall have a Kitt of Salmon sent from Berwick, where it is sooner in Season than it is here and better cured.
