                                                                       Ravensworth Castle  Decemr 2 1737

Sir

	I have the Favour of Yours with with Lord Brodrick for a Bill of <Sam Price> for One hundred and thirty four Pounds returned for non Acceptance. since which I have Seen a Letter from Price who says he had given that Answer to the person you sent to Call upon him, but in the same Letter he Agrees he has money in his hand and Promises to pay the Bill however as I Doubt he is a Triffling Man and as I would not have you have any trouble with him I have Inclosed Sent you two Bills on him thereof which will be punctually paid.  I am sory you have had so much trouble in finding out some of the persons whose Notes I sent you and as I cannot give you any Information where they are to be found, If you Cannot find them out I must desire you’ll return them before due and I will make you a remittance in lieu thereof, for the future what Bills we have occasion to Draw you shall not have the trouble of sending into the Country for the Treasurer I am with my very humble service To Mr Maul and mr Horn Dear Sr     Yrs etc    NW
