Farnacres 8th Febry 1792 Mr Sample On looking into Hannah Ridleys agre[ment] I think she is liable to pay the Rent clear of all deductions as there is not a word said not even about Land Tax. It will certainly be quite right not to sell for ready Money at Erringtons Sales and three Months Credit will do very well. As I understand the Chatts mean to let Peacock House Farm to John Nevin. The[y] say that since the £11 you accounted for when you last settled they have p[ai]d you £5. & Wm. Chatt said they wanted Pay for the carriage of some Lime to the Bush but I see he was p[ai]d £3.6 – the 8th Novem[be]r last for the carriage of Lime to the Bush. I observe the £11 is charged in y[ou]r Acc[oun]t as having been Rec[eive]d in July. I am surprised you did not keep the £3.6 – in part of Rent. The Arrear for Peacock House will stand as follows Arrear due 12 May 1791 £67 18 - 1/2 a years Rent due 22d Novemr 1791 26 6 - £94 4 - Suppose you have received 5 - - This sh[oul]d be secured £89 4 – 1/2 a years Rent which will become due 12 May 1792 which it is supposed the Way going crop sh[oul]d pay 26 6 – Total £115 10 – I am Y[ou]r H[um]ble Serv[an]t Nich Walton Jun.
