       We have received your Letter by Geo Glenwright.

       As to the Bullion send it when you are ready with your usual quantity but write to us and let us know as near as you can when you are within a fortnight of its arrival at Newcastle

       As we have Mr Hiltons Recet for the Eighty Pounds he may as well keep it; You are certainly right in not paying the Carriers anything on account and we think he shd pay you the Sum you have of on account to the Carriers. We are

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
