      The Assay Scales are ready to be delivered to James Johnsons Man on Friday & we have desired Mr: Harvey to give a strict charge to the Man to take the utmost care of them and Mr Harvey is also desired to write to James Johnson to forwd. them to Langley Mill the first Opportunity.  The Assays for Carrs Cutting were found to be all of a weight & Thorngill Cutting Assays were also all of equal weight with one another.

      We are glad to see the Reducing better than usual and observe what you say as to the Money paid by Jno. Elliot.   You will probably have directions about the School by Fridays Post.   We are
