Sirs

      We have reced. yours and in Answer will make you a Remittance in a very few days after the two years Intrest becomes due to the Exec.rs of the late Dr Chamberlain. We are sorry the year which was due at last ladyday was not then paid but it was for want of having directions after the Intrest was alterd, As the Terme is so near hand we rather chuse to make the remittance for the two years togither & we hope it will be no Inconvenience to the Exec.rs & we are,

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
