                                                                       Ravensworth Castle  Decer 16 1737

Sir

	We Reced yours with the Board Minutes of the 7th of Inst wch we duely Observe, and we have acquainted George Liddell Esqr and his Partners with the Boards Resolutions Relating to Clergill Cleugh Lead Vein.

	As we apprehend the Board required as particular an Accot as possably of the Valuation of the Severall Woods in the Derwentwater Estate we with proper Assistants have gone thro the whole which being of So large Extant has been very Tedious and Troublesome and has prolonged the time much Longer than we Expected tho we have made as much dispatch as possible the particular Valuation is now Coppying & will be finished so as we may Send you an Abstract thereof Next week and the particular Valuation will come by Next weeks Carrier along with a Rentall of the Estate for the year 1737 & Severall other Accots

	Next post will bring you our Cash Accot to the 14 November last & from that time to the 30th the Same & we are Ready to make up the years Accot to the 14 Novr, but as it would be more Convenient to us & we hope no way Irregular with Regard to the Hospital Accot we Should desire leave to make up the Accot to the 31st Decer Inst with which we desire you will acquaint the Board & you will much Oblidge
