Sir

	Yesterday Mr Constables Agent sent to us to know whether we woud pay the Interest on £5900 as usual, or not till the Principall was paid, which according to the Notice is to be the 25th Instant. This we thought proper to Acquaint you with, and that we have this day wrote to Mr Constable that he is to Apply to you, who will no Doubt order payment pursuant to the notice.

	Inclosed is the Cash accot. for last Month as usual, on which there is a ballance of £17:4:5 in favour of the Hospital. Mr Johnson the Hospitals Bayliff is upon the Road for London having had a Sumons, as an Evidence for the Consumers of Coales, and we Expect one of us will in a few days have directions likewise, with which please to acquaint the Board, and you’ll oblige, Sir

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
