To Wm Corbett Esqr Rav Castle June 17th 1737 Sir We were favoured with yours of the 10th Inst with the Boards Minutes of the 8th Inst which we duely Observe. The Representation of Ralph Radcliff Esqr relating his purchase of the Ambles Estate in the County of Northumberland, we doe not question the fact of, but we are Ready to believe Mr William Radcliff had no right to Sell What we meant by a Settlement was the Original Settlement upon Mr William Radcliff by which it will appear whether he had a right to Sell or not. This we thought proper to Mention again as it may deserve the boards Consideration We begg leave to put you in mind of the Ovingham Estate as we understood a Suit was intended to be Commenced with all Convenient Speed, wherein John Fenwick Esqr Thos Errington Esqr John Aynsley Esqr were to be made party & which being done there is No doubt but the Hospital will prevail The Tenants in all parts of the Estate belonging to the Hospital begin to be uneasey for want of the Leases of their farmes and realy make us so, and we cannot proceed in the Draught lice that we Sent be approved of by the board. We begg leave to returne the Directon thanks for the Allowance they are pleased to make us for the Expence of holding Courts & doe Assure them that the future Expence thereof Shall be Managed with the Utmost frugallity by Sr Yor most Obedt Servts N Walton & H Boag
