                                                                                  Ravensworth Castle  Octr 21 1737

Sir

	Mr Stephenson Moor Master has Sent me an Accot of the Quantity of Lead Ore raised within the Manour of Alston from Xmas last to Michs last, wch I Send You Inclosed & you will have it hereafter Quarterly.  There was a Small Quantity of Oare raised from Michs to Xmas 1736 wch was not Included in the last years Sale of the Dues of wch Mr Stephenson will give an Accot in the next Quarters Accot.

	Mr Boag is attending the holding of Courts at Newlands, Haydon Bridge & Wark & returns to Hexham to morrow, where I am to meet him in order to receive the Mayday Rents and Arrears on Monday & Tuesday next, & on Wednesday is to be held the Court at Alston, where one or both of us will attend          For Mr Boag & Selfe

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
