Ravensworth Castle Novr. 24 1739 To Wm Corbett Esqr Sir Inclosed we send you our Cash Acct. for Last Month by wch There appears to have been in our hands at the end thereof £1066:2:11¼ but you will be please to observe we have since Remitted Mr Wood £1000 & out of what we have Recd. since & what we are in Expectation of receiving we hope to make a Remittance in a weeks Time of £700 more. We have Likewise Recd. the moor masters Accot. of mines not at work & the Accot. of Dues to Mich. last due from Geo: Liddle Esqr. & ptners. You will observe Sir that Six more Mines have reverted to the Hospital at Michaelmas last. We are realy in very Great want of the Leases wch were Ordered to be executed at the Last general Court & therefore desire they may be forwarded with all Speed as Also That the Board will be pleased to give us orders to get Draughts made of the leases for Collierys Tyths &c that will not answer the printed form. We have made no Conting<ent> payments without order of Board in the Quarter ending at Michaelms. last Except four pence for which reason we omitt Sending any accot.
