Sir

According to the Boards Order have sent Inclosed a Computation of the Expence upon 150 London Chalders of Coales to be delivered at Greenwich & it amounts to about 25s a Chalder. We Chused to make the Computation upon a Ship that Carrys 10 Newcastle Keels or 80 Newcastle Chald.s & will Measure out to about 150 London Cha.s & Such a Ship we think & judge will lye to Greenwich Key.

As this is not the Cheapest time of the Year for freights nor the time of the least hazard at Sea, we hope the Hospital will not put this in practice till Summer, & if they shall think fitt so to do we will take all the care we can to agree for freight &c at the lowest price & they may be Sure to be well Served with a Good bulk of Coales & at a time when they desire them; but if the Hospital chuses to have them in any other shape we are ready to obey their orders. we are
