Letter – Nicholas Walton to William Radley – 24 Feb 1741

To Mr Radley 



Sir

      We reced. Yours with the Gazett in which was the peremptory Advertizement & have gott it also advertized in both the Newcastle papers. We have also gott a Thousand Coppys of them printed and have directed them or as many of them as we Could among the people near where the woods lye, but we think the peremptory day is too soon fixed .

      There is a Gentleman whose name is Chrisop from Hexham Sett out for London this day or to Morrow in order to purchase the Whole wood in Northumberland, he has a fair Character  & is Able.

We hope to send you the Tacknote <sene> with our Remarks upon them, one of them we have not  yet reced. from the Quaker agent Weare.
