Your favour of the 20 April last & are sorry that any mistakes should have happened in the Instructions for the Leases now ready for Signing. Thos. Humbell & Ptners R<en>ts for Whittonstall is £57 <Prem duct> £37 As to the Value of the Coals wrought at Stubblick Coll[iery] we cannot tell how to acertain the Values of them but shall Endeavour to gett it as near as we can & as soon. The Number in the Second Column is the Trees mark in those valued to Stand at Dilston, but there is none intended to be left at Thornbrough. The first Column only signifies this viz. No.1 or one tree marked 25 is valued £10 &c we are Sr Yo’r very Humb. Servts N.W H.B PS The Values of the Coals wrought by Mr Blacketts ten<an>ts amounts to abt. £50 out of Stublick Colliery and we hope this will serve.
