To Mr Wm. Radley



      We reced. yours of the 24 Inst. & indeed we cannot but say Considering the Cutting Seasons coming on the peremptory day is farr Enough back, but we thought that day might have been Apointed Sooner, so as bidders might have had More time.

      We hope however the whole will be well Sold we do not Doubt 

      We Shall take care of the Leases when they Come to hand  & We are

P.S. We have not got the Quakers Company Tacknote yett we  believe there will be some dispute about the Lease Length.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
